Boxhead: The Zombie Wars

Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is the 5th game in the series. It comes with new graphics, new enemies (lots of them) and Zombie Wars brings a new feature to the series. Now you can construct your own base with turrets and barricades. In this mode you will be required to keep your base operational at all times otherwise the might of the Zombies and their allies will crush you.

Jon Bambo is the star of this game and he is alone. Equipped with an awesome arsenal of weapons including the new minigun, placeable turrets and airstrikes, he will need to use these wisely as the enemy has multiplied 10 fold and are harder than ever.

Sean Cooper notes: Well I really went back to basics with game, I was trying to find new angles of fun and new ways to make it an action packed sequel. Although I have lost some big features, i.e. 2 player, I have added some fundamental new features, the defence game. I am a big fan of RTS games and action games, mixing these two genres is tricky, but I am sure that this demonstrates that.

I hope you like the game and I am happy to hear any ideas/feedback/complaints - feedback@seantcooper.com

The game is available to play here.

Objectives and Goals

The objective is simple: Kill all the baddies, Zombies through to the Devil. You only get one life so use it wisely otherwise you will be slaughtered.

To earn new weapons and equipment, kill the enemy quickly and as many as possible with one shot to increase the Multiplier. As the Multiplier increases you gain new weapons and the weapons you already have are then upgraded.

To get the highest score possible get the multiplier up to 999, this means that for every Zombie killed you will earn 100x999 and not just 100 pts.

The Cast

The Zombie: These creatures were once residents of the town Boxville but have now been cursed with the deadly Zombie virus. Zombies are the body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, by supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose. Tactics: They are usually pretty slow and rely on getting close to you to devour you, so keep your distance and blow their heads off with your choice of weapon. Remember they give you 1 multiplier point per kill. Use them to to pump the Multiplier upto 999.

The Devil: Well he is not the real devil that would just be far to evil and cruel. He just merely thinks he is, although he has some similar powers to him, i.e. he will try to devour you. He launches a deadly attack on you and your base, a line of what looks to me as napalm, stay out of his way and pump him full of bullets. Tactics: Keep your distance and wait for him to attack before killing him. He doesn't like to be interrupted during attack so do exactly that.

The Runners: Very similar to the Zombies (in fact they are) but they have one great defence, they sprint at you and try to attack, get more than one running at you and you are in trouble. Tactics: RUNAWAY, I mean, run and keep your distance then turn and blow them to bits. If your base is working well just run and hide and let the turrets take them down.

The Mummies: These creatures come from the ground, into your base or appear right next to you. Be on the look-out at all times. You never know when or where they will appear. Tactics: They are very much like the Zombies, they rely on getting close to you to devour you, so keep your distance and blow their heads off with your choice of weapon.

The Vampirette: Usually creatures of the night but now able to come and play during the day. They too have to get next to you to attack but they have a cunning trick.. They disappear, turn into a bat and then reappear at your side. One touch and you are dead. Tactics: Keep your distance and if you see smoke, run for your life, turn and shoot. Or just run back to the base and have the turrets take care of them.

Inventory

Pistol: The weakest of the weapons but essential, if you have nothing else then at least you have this weapon. Upgrade path: Crackshot, Auto Fire, Long Range.

Shotgun: A double shot shotgun with awesome power once upgraded as it turns into a rapid firing, wide spread Zombie killing machine. Upgrade path: Auto Fire, Double Ammo, Wide shot, Rapid fire, Long range, Quad ammo, Wider shot, Double damage.

After clicking on the Enter Hell, it just stops on the Entering Hell screen?

This is because this particular version of Flash 9 you are using, has a problem and you will need to upgrade the version in order to correct this problem. You can find the new version here:
