ABOUT US

Welcome to the Official Sean Cooper development website. This site contains all the games I have developed, hints and tips on how to play, mechandise, free downloads, news and much more…

I really loved developing these games for the appreciative audience that is playing them. Expect many more games with new and innovative game play.

This is what we do best:

  • We like making games
  • We like supporting game developers
  • We like making money (with you!)

We like making games

Sean Cooper started out in the Games industry in 1987. He led, designed and programmed many hit titles for Electronic Arts and they collectively sold 20 million copies +. Some of the hit titles for Electronic Arts; Battlefield, Bond, Dungeon Keeper, Flood, GeneWars, Godfather, Hiest, Hioctane, Magic Carpet, Populous (released in 1989 and hailed as revolutionary – called it the God game). Powermonger and Syndicate (an isometric real-time tactical game created in 1993).

Since 2005 Sean has been writing free games for the online casual gaming market. He shows diversity in the type of games he’s so far created; The Boxhead series; a collection of Fast paced Zombie Killing games full of action, guns and loads of blood (100million+ visits worldwide - data May 2010), The Shadez series; 2D RTS (Real Time Strategy) war games – action packed games where you send your troops out to fight the enemy (over 35million visits worldwide so far - data May 2010). And the wOne/comBOTs series, a series of skill and puzzle games. In 2009 we launched an iPhone game; Boxhead The Zombie Wars and we are also keeping ourselves busy with our Fliso Engine (a Flash Isometric Graphic Engine).

We like supporting games developers

With 20 years experience of creating games, we feel we are certainly up to speed with the latest technology. Our opinion is that, unfortunately, technology is suffering under Flash and people are not getting everything out of it. This is where we may be able to help, we can assist people to achieve their technical goals and offer support with the design and coding of an engine. To make life even easier; we have created an Isometric Flash Graphic Engine called Fliso. This fast rendering engine could save any games business a lots of time and money!  We offer licenses + technical support throughout this process to make it run as smoothly as possible. Contact us for more information via develop@seantcooper.com

We try to support developers by attending conferences; Sean attended the Flash Game Summit in San Francisco where he spoke about “the (unreleased) Boxhead Deconstruction: From Fast AI to Graphics Engine to Pipelines”. Such conferences are such a fantastic way to be educated on any form of games technology (for us too!!). It’s so fascinating to (finally) meet people face-to-face and to talk about casual games…. Other conferences he has spoken at is the Expo Conference in Brighton (UK) and hopefully many more to come. We’re also doing a workshop at Spil Games in The Netherlands, so we’re certainly not twiddling our thumbs!

We like making money!

We are doing this in many ways; by in-game ads and website advertising, game sponsorship, micro transactions, selling non-exclusive licenses, iPhone apps, revenue share, selling iso-metric engine etc etc. The list is very long.
And a Big Thanks to these people (and more) who make all this happen; CrazyMonkeyGames, MochiMedia, Kongregate, Electronic Arts, XgenStudios, Medl mobile, FlashGameLicense, Spil Games, Newgrounds, CPMStar, GraphicGenie, LolappsNinjakiwi, Michelin France, etc.  Please do let us know if we've left you out!!
