comBOTS
Program your comBOT by entering your components, followed by the Component Events
and Component Actions (these actions are dragged into the Events to make the comBOT
do something, i.e. move, rotate or fire).
The objective of the game is to program a comBOT (your robot) and compete against
other comBOTs. You can program your comBOT however you want to, making them move
and fire objectives at your enemy! The aim of the game is to compete against each
other by taking the code of your favourite comBOT and sending it to friends or posting
it on the internet to compete against players all over the world.
Sean Cooper notes:
Now I must start with an Apology, simply, this game is a little different, obscure
and difficult. Please prove me wrong and really try to understand the concept. I
really enjoyed making this game however hindered by the complexity, if you can learn
the game it is a lot of fun. The game revolves around programming. Any operating
system is based on a response system called ‘events’, when something happens it
does something. All you have to do in this game is apply this, when the comBOT hits
a wall what would you like it to do, rotate, backup, start shooting, etc.
